[Well, it had been 'asleep' until the chirrup that indicated an incoming message. She's still somewhat groggy as she checks it--she sleeps hard, and it's a process waking up in the morning.

...she's also not used to people checking in on her, just for the hell of it. Usually they want something. Was there some duty she was supposed to complete? She couldn't recall--which didn't meant there wasn't something, but she didn't think there was.]

Do you need a recharge? My Chief Engineer, LtCdr Montgomery Scott, is here now, maybe you and he can figure out an easy way for you to recharge? I have some of those power cells from the ship, do you need one?

Sleeping is sufficient. The power cells are an exhaustible resource, we would be better served saving them for the phasers.

Well, you and Scotty could make one of those electricity cranks and use it to recharge you and maybe the phasers? Or we could get a more stable outlet in the building set up and use that?

One complete regeneration cycle requires over three megawatts of power. I doubt the building's wiring could handle the demand.
